It was 5:00PM on a Friday afternoon, and I was out running errands when the phone rang. A dad and his daughters, visiting Utah family from their home in Boston, were driving out to the Bonneville Salt Flats to explore and decided they wanted to capture the trip with some professional photography. With just about 45 minutes to get ready, I grabbed my camera and headed out on the two hour drive to one of the coolest places in the world; the site of land speed record setting races, and countless blockbuster movies including Independence Day. What I found when we got there was the cutest family ever, and the most gorgeous late afternoon light. The evening was as magical as you could imagine, and I was so glad I was able to make this dad’s wish come true to capture some family photos on the Salt Flats.
